Our Products

Railroad Ties - No. 1 Grade
We carry #1 grade railroad ties, which means that they are one step below relay ties, and have three or four straight sides. They’re usually dark from creosote. These strong, durable ties are suitable for landscape retaining walls, parking curb stops, flower boxes, and any landscaping purpose.

#1 Grade railroad ties as mentioned are one step below “Relay Ties”. Relay Ties are the best grade of railroad ties available and look like brand new as they are dark colored from creosote treatment.

Pressure-Treated Landscape Timbers
Pressure-treated landscape timbers are truly the wood for any season or condition. Pressure-treated timbers provide a rugged exterior building product that’s rot and insect resistant.

Pressure-Treated Landscape Timber Bed Instructions

  • Dig a trench: Where the wood will rest on the ground, dig a level trench 2 inches wider than your timbers and about 3 inches deep
  • Create a foundation: Pour and level a base of gravel, making it nearly as high as the surrounding grade
  • Lay timber foundation: Lay the first course of timbers on the gravel. Bore 3/8-inch holes down through the timbers every 3 feet. Set pre-cut 2-foot pieces of 3/8-inch reinforcing bar in each of the holes and pound them flush with the surface of the timber
  • Add Remaining Timbers: Attach the final two courses with 12-inch spikes, pre-drilling 3 inches into the timbers with a 1/4-inch bit
